H-2Kb/ MC-38 (SIIVFNLL) MHC Pentamer

CAT#: MHC-YF545

MHC pentamers have a high avidity for CD8 T cells, and can be used in the analysis of individual antigen-specific T cells. This product is a MHC pentamer of peptide/MHC complex composed MC-38-derived peptide of SIIVFNLL sequence and H-2Kb molecule. The peptide/MHC pentamer provided here is unlabelled or fluorescent labelled, such as Biotin, R-PE, APC. All products are available in 50, 150 and 500 tests.

Q&As

  1. Is the H-2Kb MC-38 MHC Pentamer suitable for flow cytometry applications?

A: Yes, the pentamer is designed for flow cytometry. It can stain antigen-specific T cells with high specificity and sensitivity. By binding to T-cell receptors that recognize the MC-38 peptide, it allows for the analysis of T-cell populations within mixed cell samples from mice.

  2. What are the storage conditions and stability of the H-2Kb MC-38 MHC Pentamer?

A: The pentamer should be stored at 2-8°C, protected from light, especially if conjugated to a fluorochrome. It is crucial not to freeze the reagent as it may affect its stability and functionality. Under proper storage conditions, it maintains stability for a specified period indicated on the product datasheet.
