A hierarchical set of MHC-restricted peptides has previously been described for the TCR P14 specific for H-2Db in complex with the lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus-derived peptide gp33 (KAVYNFATM) 33-42. The immunodominant agonist gp33 induces complete CD8+ T-cell activity including granule and calcium release, as well as cytokine production, proliferation, and cytotoxicity.
