The PTM™ Rabbit Anti-HIST1H2AE (acetyl Lys9) Recombinant Antibody is a post-translational modification (PTM) antibody specific for human, mouse and rat HIST1H2AE (acetyl Lys9). Acetylation of histone H2A at lysine 9 (H2AK9ac) promotes gene activation and chromatin decondensation. By neutralizing the positive charge of the histone, this modification enhances the accessibility of transcriptional machinery to DNA. The anti-HIST1H2AE (acetyl Lys9) antibody can be used for Western blot (1/500-1/1000), Immunohistochemistry (1/50-1/100), Immunofluorescence (1/50-1/200).
