GeneSpark™ Human DNAJB9 Exon 1 Primers (VS-0725-FY72)
CAT#: VS-0725-FY72
The Human DNAJB9 Exon 1 Primers provide a reliable tool for amplifying DNA isolated via chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP). This product features a pre-mixed set of forward and reverse PCR primers specifically targeting exon 1 of the human DNAJB9 (DnaJ Heat Shock Protein Family Member B9) gene. DNAJB9 is a chaperone protein involved in protein folding and stress response. Targeting an exonic region can offer insights into the chromatin state of actively transcribed areas or specific protein binding within the gene body. These primers are optimized for use in SYBR® Green quantitative real-time PCR and are validated with Enzymatic Chromatin IP Kits and ChIP-validated antibodies.
Specifications
- Application
- ChIP
- Application Notes
- Primers play a pivotal role in chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) assays. They serve as precise tools designed to detect and quantify specific DNA sequences that have been enriched through the immunoprecipitation process. This targeted detection is vital for uncovering and mapping protein-DNA interactions, offering crucial insights into gene regulation and chromatin structure. Essentially, primers enable researchers to pinpoint the exact locations where proteins bind to DNA.
- Workflow
- 1. Label PCR tubes/plates for duplicates, no-DNA control, and a 2% total input chromatin DNA serial dilution.
2. Add 2 μl ChIP DNA sample per well/tube.
3. Prepare and add 18 μl master PCR reaction mix (Nuclease-free H2O, Primers, SYBR® Green).
4. Run 40 cycles of PCR: 95°C for 3 min; then 95°C for 15 sec, primer-specific temp for 60 sec (repeated).
5. Analyze results with real-time PCR software.
- Size
- 0.5 mL

Target
- Full Name
- DnaJ Heat Shock Protein Family (Hsp40) Member B9
- Introduction
- This gene is a member of the J protein family. J proteins function in many cellular processes by regulating the ATPase activity of 70 kDa heat shock proteins. This gene is a member of the type 2 subgroup of DnaJ proteins. The encoded protein is localized to the endoplasmic reticulum. This protein is induced by endoplasmic reticulum stress and plays a role in protecting stressed cells from apoptosis.
- Alternative Names
