Human Anti-MrkA scFv-Fc Chimera (VS-0325-FY205) (CAT#: VS-0325-FY205)
This antibody targets MrkA, a major protein in the type III fimbriae complex of K. pneumoniae. It was generated using phage display and hybridoma platforms by screening for opsonophagocytic killing activity. The antibody binds to MrkA in a serotype-independent manner and has shown promising results in reducing biofilm formation and conferring protection in murine pneumonia models.
