Recombinant Anti-BDKRB2 Vesicular Antibody, EV Displayed (VS-0425-YC575) (CAT#: VS-0425-YC575)
The Recombinant Anti-BDKRB2 Vesicular Antibody, EV Displayed (VS-0425-YC575) is an antibody-displaying extracellular vesicle (Ab-EV). The product combines the benefits of both extracellular vesicle (EV) and antibody (Ab) which can guide the decorated EVs to BDKRB2-expressed cells or tissues. BDKRB2 is a receptor for bradykinin, a peptide involved in vasodilation and pain response. This receptor associates with G proteins to stimulate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium messenger system, existing in two isoforms from alternative start codons.

- Introduction
- This gene encodes a receptor for bradykinin. The 9 aa bradykinin peptide elicits many responses including vasodilation, edema, smooth muscle spasm and pain fiber stimulation. This receptor associates with G proteins that stimulate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Alternate start codons result in two isoforms of the protein.
