Background

VP0, VP1 and VP3 are the structural proteins of the virus. Among them, P0 protein is located on the surface of virus particle and is one of its main structural proteins.Duck hepatitis a virus belongs to the family of small RNA viruses. The virus particle has no cystic membrane and is icosahedral symmetric. The core is single stranded plus RNA, the genome size is about 7,690nt.During the translation process, the polyprotein is constantly hydrolyzed by the protease encoding by itself, and decomposed into products of P1, P2 and P3. P1, P2 and P3 are further decomposed into small fragment proteins, namely VP0, VP1 and VP3.
