Mice were treated with PBS or purified mAb 2H1 24 h before infection. mAb 2H1-treated parental mice, day 14. Granulomatous inflammation is seen with fewer cryptococci in airspaces. The inflammatory cells include polymorphonuclear leukocytes, lymphocytes, epithelioid cells, and macrophages.
