Recombinant Mouse Antibody (m10) is capable of binding to CHIKV VLP, expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary cells (CHO). This antibody could stabilize the viral surface, hindering the exposure of the fusion-loop, likely neutralizing infection by blocking fusion.

Neutralizing activity of intact MAb and Fab fragments against CHIKV is shown for m10, as determined by the reduction in the number of focus-forming units (FFU) on Vero cells.
