CytoStream™ Rabbit Anti-BCL11A Recombinant Antibody (VS13-YC94) (CAT#: VS13-YC94)
The CytoStream™ Rabbit Anti-BCL11A Recombinant Antibody is specific for human BCL11A. BCL11A encodes a C2H2 zinc-finger protein potentially linked to leukemia as a retroviral integration site and is down-regulated during hematopoiesis, involved in lymphoma pathogenesis and producing multiple isoforms through alternative splicing. The anti-BCL11A antibody was developed and selected by our CytoStream™ platform and the mAb is recommended for use in flow cytometry staining (1/50-1/100).

- Transcription factor. Associated with the BAF SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complex. Binds to the 5'-TGACCA-3' sequence motif in regulatory regions of target genes, including a distal promoter of the HBG1 hemoglobin subunit gamma-1 gene. Involved in regulation of the developmental switch from gamma- to beta-globin, probably via direct repression of HBG1; hence indirectly repressing fetal hemoglobin (HbF) level. Involved in brain development.
