The anti-catfish IgL S.46 antibody specifically reacts with the denatured form of catfish IgL σ. This anti-catfish IgL σ mAb may be useful in studies examining the role of catfish IgL σ chain expression in immune responses.

Onemicroliter serum samples from fish #23 were separated by 12% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, transferred to a nitrocellulose membrane, and visualized by Western blot using anti-IgL σ S.46 mAb, anti-IgL F mAb, or anti-IgL G mAb. Arrows indicate IgL σ-, IgL F, and IgL G chains.
