This product is a human antibody Fab fragment (clone N49P6) targets HIV CD4bs. N49P6 is an Ab of the N49 lineage that has a neutralization ability. N49P6 combines the characteristics of known broadly neutralizing antibodies against CD4-binding site (CD4bs) with unique features of its own lineage to achieve its remarkable neutralization breadth. These include the absence of the CD4 Phe43 cavity and reliance instead on interactions with a highly conserved inner domain layer 3 of gp120.
