WT1/HLA-A2

The WT1 gene encodes a transcription factor that plays a vital role in the development of the kidneys and gonads. It is crucial for normal kidney development and is also involved in the regulation of various biological processes. Mutations in the WT1 gene are associated with Wilms tumor, a common pediatric kidney cancer, as well as syndromes such as WAGR syndrome (Wilms tumor, Aniridia, Genitourinary abnormalities, and Range of developmental delays) and Denys-Drash syndrome.
