The anti-FRA pH-dependent antibody (clone MORAb-003) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human FRA. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to FRA. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of FRA on cells and tissues. Human FRA, or Folate Receptor Alpha, is a high-affinity receptor for folate that is overexpressed in various cancers. Its expression in cancer cells allows for targeted delivery of therapeutic agents.
