The anti-IL26 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human IL26. IL26 overexpresses in virus-transformed T cells, part of the IL1 cytokine family. The antibody has a novel IL26-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble IL26 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
