• The primary function of the anti-L. pneumophila scFv-Fc antibody is to recognize and bind to a specific pathogen (in this case, L. pneumophila). In this way, the scFv-Fc can be used to construct a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), enabling the detection of Legionella cells in water. Furthermore, when integrated into a sensor system, this antibody can facilitate rapid detection of L. pneumophila in portable devices.
