Rat Anti-AICDA Recombinant Antibody (clone 0725W50)

This recombinant antibody, clone 0725W50, targets a peptide corresponding to amino acids 178-198 of human AID. It is validated for Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and Western Blot (WB). AICDA (Activation Induced Cytidine Deaminase) is an RNA-editing deaminase involved in somatic hypermutation, gene conversion, and class-switch recombination of immunoglobulin genes. Defects in this gene cause hyper-IgM immunodeficiency syndrome type 2 (HIGM2), making this antibody valuable for immunology research.
