The antibody reduces the density of CD4 expressed on T-cell surfaces that can engage in an immune response, thereby decreasing the count of functional CD4⁺ effector T lymphocytes. Additionally, the antibody, cat# TAB-168LC, hampers the activity of natural killer (NK) cells in laboratory settings.
