This antibody scFv fragment is identified in an HIV1-infected individual, binds to a discontinuous epitope on the HIV1 gpl20 envelopeglycoprotein, blocks the binding of gpl20 to the CD4 viral receptor, and neutralizes a broad range of HIV1 isolates.
