Anti-CD20 Antibody-Cytokine Fusion Protein, IgG (DI-Leu16)-IL2 (CAT#: ACFP-SH134)

This antibody-cytokine fusion protein was achieved by conjugating/fusing the Anti-CD20 IgG to IL2. It was expressed in CHO and purified with affinity chromatography. The immunocytokine retains the ability to bind the CD20 as well as the biological activity of IL2. In-vitro studies of DI-Leu16-IL2 have demonstrated CD20 targeting, IL2 bioactivities, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) functions. In a SCID mouse model, DI-Leu16-IL2 showed superior anti-lymphoma effects over rituximab or rituximab combined with systemic IL2. This immunocytokine was designed for treating Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.

IL-2 is part of the body's natural response to microbial infection, and in discriminating between foreign ("non-self") and "self". IL-2 mediates its effects by binding to IL-2 receptors, which are expressed by lymphocytes.
