Mouse Anti-EGFR Recombinant Antibody (clone mAb528) (CAT#: PABZ-039)

Recombinant Mouse Antibody (mAb528) is capable of binding to EGFR, expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary cells (CHO). The parental murine antibody, 528 IgG, inhibited the binding of m528Fv and h528Fv to EGFR expressed on cancer cells in a flow cytometric assay.

The cells were collected for FACS analysis of the distribution of FITC-positive cells. The data are plotted for cell numbers versus the intensity of fluorescence. Total numbers of cells counted in each cell line (stained respectively with a control IgG and the anti-EGFR mAb 528) are shown at the top.

Monolayers were treated apically (A) and basolaterally (B) with either vehicle, 1 nM EGF alone, and 50 nM EGF alone, or with 20 nM (1:25 dilution) MAb528 (added 30 min before EGF). TER was monitored with an EVOM at indicated times after EGF treatment. Data are means ± SE of 3 replicate wells and are representative of experiments from 4 separate cell preparations.
