Anti-EGFR antibody liposomes are novel drug delivery systems designed to target and treat cancers that overexpress the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). These liposomes consist of a lipid bilayer encapsulating chemotherapeutic agents, which are conjugated with monoclonal antibodies directed against EGFR. This targeted approach enhances drug delivery to cancerous cells while minimizing side effects on healthy tissues.
