Anti-MS4A1 Antibody-Cytokine Fusion Protein, IgG-IL2no-alpha (CAT#: VS-0624-FY104)
This is a chimeric monoclonal antibody against the protein CD20, which is primarily found on the surface of immune system B cells. IFNB1 is more potent than interferon-α (IFN-α) in inducing apoptotic and antiproliferative pathways required for controlling tumor cell growth. Diseases associated with IFNB1 include multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children and secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. The antibody-IL2no-alpha Immunocytokine is specific for the human CD20 molecule and the sequences of its variable regions are those of antibody. The light chain is formed by a VL variable region and a C kappa mouse constant region. The heavy chain is made up of the VH variable region, followed by a constant region of mouse IgG2a that has a connecting peptide (Gly4Ser)3ThrGly fused to the carboxyl terminus and then the IL2no-alpha molecule.

- IL-2 is a cytokine that plays a key role in controlling immune system homeostasis, acting on both effector and regulatory lymphocytes. IL-2 binds to multimeric IL-2 receptors (IL-2R) expressed on different lymphocyte subsets and induces lymphocyte survival, proliferation, and activation. No-alpha mutant protein is an agonist with greater antitumor activity than wtIL-2 but less toxicity.

- This gene encodes a member of the membrane-spanning 4A gene family. Members of this nascent protein family are characterized by common structural features and similar intron/exon splice boundaries and display unique expression patterns among hematopoietic cells and nonlymphoid tissues. This gene encodes a B-lymphocyte surface molecule which plays a role in the development and differentiation of B-cells into plasma cells. This family member is localized to 11q12, among a cluster of family members. Alternative splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants which encode the same protein.
