Antibody 2-1G11 is a mouse monoclonal antibody targeting the B lymphocyte stimulator (BLYS) protein (TNFSF13B). 2-1G11 can inhibit the BLYS-induced B cell activation. This antibody has high affinity with human BLYS extracellular domain (hBLYS-ECD) (KD = 0.637 nM) measured by SPR. This antibody does not exhibit cross-reactivity with the homologous protein APRIL in ELISA.

Application Notes
The ELISA data related to the 2-1G11 antibody provides insights into its binding affinity and specificity for the TNFSF13B protein. The binding of the 2-1G11 antibody to human BLYS recombinant cells (CHO-K1 hBLYS) was measured by flow cytometry analysis, indicating a dose-dependent binding response. 2-1G11 has effective inhibitory action on BLYS-induced B cell activation.
