We can engineer mutations into Fab interfaces in order to minimize light chain and heavy chain mispairing and get correctly assembled products in one host cell. The advance of this novel technique is that it can overcome disadvantages of the two-host cell approach which has high cost and greatly complexity in production process. In addition, our scientists can produce orthogonal Fab interfaces using electrostatic steering which facilitates the efficient production of bispecific IgGs.
