By combining the efficacy of liposomes with targeted antibodies, we can enhance the delivery and effectiveness of therapeutic agents in your projects.

Introduction

For certain molecules with extremely low immunogenicity, such as lipids, glycolipids, polysaccharides, and DNA, even when using carrier coupling methods to enhance their immunogenicity, it is often challenging to obtain highly specific antibodies against the target antigens. Therefore, when preparing antibodies for this type of antigen, it is crucial to identify an antigen delivery system that can effectively accommodate the specific characteristics of the antigen while efficiently delivering it to antigen-presenting cells (APCs).

Liposome carriers, known for their excellent antigen-stimulating activity, have emerged as a novel adjuvant or vaccine delivery system. The size, charge, and membrane components of liposomes can be easily and conveniently adjusted, giving them advantages not found in traditional protein carriers. This flexibility allows for the conversion of low or even non-immunogenic antigens into immunogenic ones, thereby increasing their opportunities for interaction with APCs and effective processing into actionable antigens. Importantly, liposomes are advantageous for vaccine development, as they are free from adverse side effects.

Creative Biolabs has leveraged its extensive research experience with liposomes to develop a comprehensive method for producing antibodies against low-immunogenicity antigens using liposomes as emulsifying carriers. We meticulously control the size of the liposomes to approximately 200 nm, a practice informed by valuable hands-on experience accumulated by our technical team during long-term projects.
